ChatGPT for Mac Update
One AI app is controlling another AI app to write code - now anyone with a Mac doesn't have to manually code in Cursor or Windsurf. Advanced Voice conversation mode is also functional. It can display diffs.

In the video, it's compared to Cline, and the presenter says that Cline burns through money via the API and doesn't perform very well - in contrast, you pay for ChatGPT once a month and can use it as much as you want. On the other hand, Cursor or Windsurf, within their own chats, have a better understanding of the code and project context, so their results are likely to be better than ChatGPT's.
Supported Applications:
- Apple Notes, Notion, TextEdit, Quip
- Xcode, VS Code, Code Insiders, VSCodium, Cursor, Windsurf, Jetbrains (including Android Studio, IntelliJ, PyCharm, WebStorm, PHPStorm, CLion, Rider, RubyMine, AppCode, GoLand, DataGrip)
